Complex lipid is the main structural component of biological membrane, is a form of lipid bilayer, and broadly classified into Glycerolipid and Sphingolipid. The Sphingolipid category （LBS） includes Glycosphingolipid and Phosphosphingolipid, and Ceramide. Ceramides are amides of fatty acids with Sphingosine.
